The live product ran on one 1,616-line server.js: the brand portal's APIs returned 404 and were never built, the web portal was a 90% static shell whose few real calls all failed, and the reward engine handed out money as a side effect of an unauthenticated GET, alongside IDOR holes on user data. The mobile app in the field depended on those exact routes, so nothing could be ripped out.
